Bishop Herbert Bailey II
Bishop Herbert Bailey, originally from Jersey City, N.J., is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Right Direction Church International with four locations in Columbia, Orangeburg, and Florence, S.C. RDCI is a progressive, mutil-cultural, non-denominational ministry that has grown from 10 to over 3000 since its inception in April of 1996. He has been preaching and teaching the Word of God since age 12. Prior to being the Founding Pastor of Right Direction Church International, he
served for ten years as an Assistant Pastor in Portland, ME where he was ordained and served in the Church of God in Christ and in Tulsa, OK. Bishop Bailey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Upsala College, East Orange, N.J., pursued a Masters of Public Administration at Rutgers
University of New Jersey and a Masters of Organizational Leadership at Regent University. Bishop Bailey also holds an honorary Doctorate of Divinity degree from St. Thomas Christian College of Jacksonville, Fl. Under his direction R.D.C.I. has sponsored the Compass Community Development Corporation, a 501(c)3 community non-profit organization which provides transitional housing for men and women, clothing and workforce re-entry skills for women, a food pantry, and a community learning center. Bishop Bailey has also initiated missions efforts in Zambia, Kenya, Nigeria and Ghana, West Africa through targeted medical missions. He serves as Apostolic Founder of the Right Direction Church campuses and now Prelate of the Right Direction Fellowship, an organization of pastors and churches who have embraced him as spiritual father or mentor for their lives and ministries. Bishop Bailey and his wife of over 37 years, Co-Pastor, Dr. Marcia L. Bailey, have four adult children and seven grandchildren. His preaching and teaching ministry brings forth a message of faith, power and whole life prosperity.
